I have received the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus, the eyes of my heart enlightened, so that I know the hope of having life in Christ. (See Ephesians 1: 17-18)
Who you are in Christ is pretty amazing. Did you know that as his children, he sees us as without blame? He doesn’t look at our faults or think badly of us because of them.
He loves you so much that he chose you before the foundation of the world. As his children, we have his spirit of wisdom and the gift of being spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for his purposes. He has plans for your progress and success because of who you are in Christ.
We have Christ’s wisdom revealed to us; we can understand his secrets and know him better. He promises great things to those who belong to him and great hope because of his call on our life.
Jesus shares his wisdom with us through his word (the Bible.) It allows us to understand his character and gives us instructions to help us with everyday life. His promises, knowledge, and truth are revealed to us.
Holy and Without Blame
His word tells us that we are holy and without blame before him in love. He chose us in Christ to be his before the foundation of the world so that we would be set apart for him. Because of his great love, we are blameless in his sight. (Ephesians 1:4)
Jesus planned to adopt us as his children with his kind intention and good pleasure of his will. His love for us is so much more than we could ever imagine.
Belief in Jesus and His Great Love for You
Jesus decided to love you before you were even born on this earth. The only thing that stands between you and God is whether or not you will choose to receive his love.
He sees you without blame and accusation because you believe in him. He calls you His child and loves you immensely.
You Don’t Have to Hide.
Invite Jesus into every area of your life. You don’t have to hide your faults. He already knows about them. He has more than enough loving-kindness and mercy. They are always available, regardless of the situation.
His power is perfect in our human weakness. You don’t need to focus on your faults. Instead, look away from things that are distracting and keep your eyes on Jesus.
You can spend time with him in prayer and ask Him to reveal anything that needs to change, like wrong attitudes or thought processes.
(See Psalms 26:2,139:23)
Jesus Sees What You Can Become
First Peter 1:23 says, “You have been born again [ that is, reborn from above-spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose.”] That means that he doesn’t only see what you are right now; he sees what you will become.
He knows the plans He has for you, and they are plans for progress and success, not defeat and failure (see Jeremiah 29:11 Amplified Bible)
Don’t worry about whether or not you think you’re qualified or able to accomplish something. The bible says My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
(2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV.)
Don’t just offer God what you think you have to offer. Give him what you’re not, including your mistakes and what you feel you lack. He wants that too. It’s not about what you can do; it’s about what he can do through you.
A Prayer to Renew Your Mind
Thank you, Lord, for your grace that’s sufficient for me. I thank you that your mercy and loving-kindness are always available to me, no matter the situation.
Thank you, Lord, that you see me as I can be. Thank you for spiritually transforming and renewing me. Thank you that I don’t have to hide my faults, that you see me without blame and that you love me so much, and for choosing me before the foundation of the world.
